Starting this thursday, August 22nd, the 2013 edition of the Alaska State Fair brings Alaskans and visitors from all over the country, long days of fun until the second day of September. And how can we miss it! We'll be at the fair from the first day with all our stylish clothing and brand new furniture creations we made exclusively for the event.
Fair admissions are $12 for adults (13-64) and $8 for youth (6-12) and senior (65+), on weekdays. On weekend (Fri-Sun), adult tickets cost $14 and youth and senior's $9. However, you can save $2 on any ticket if you buy them before the 22nd. Buy tickets >
The fairgrounds are located just an hour’s drive north of Anchorage at mile 40 on the Glenn Highway. The Alaska Chicks booth is on the yellow trail, under the awning on the side of the barn. And this is how is looking so far:
Each day at the fair will have unique shows, concerts, attractions, contests and more. For example, the opening day, the rock band Foreigner will be giving a concert with tickets from $35 where you can listen to their old time classic "I want to know what love is", among their 12-songs repertoire.
